Join a Committee

Looking to get involved with the early childhood profession? Interested in volunteering with Southwest Ohio AEYC, but not quite ready to join the board? Joining a committee is a great way to get involved!

We are looking for volunteers to serve on our committees. If you are interested in joining a committee, please contact us via email for more information. You do not have to be a NAEYC/SWOAEYC member to join a committee. We welcome all involvement!

The Early Learning Leaders Committee is a diverse group of early childhood leaders who have been meeting for approximately 15+ years. This committee is ideal for administrators, directors, principals, and other early childhood leaders looking to network, improve their leadership skills, and support one another.

Whether you’re a teacher, in-home provider, or other early childhood professional working with or on behalf of young children, we need you to help lead the work of disrupting unjust systems and policies by embracing the power of early childhood education to prepare children for a more equitable world!

The Finance Committee provides input on the budget and financials of SWOAEYC, providing guidance and resources to committees to empower them to serve our members. Knowledge and experience in budgeting and financial reporting are useful. Individuals outside of the early childhood profession are welcome!

An honest representation of our field is important to the development and planning of our program and event offerings. Join our committee to ensure that planned events are meaningful and meet the changing needs of our members.
